Elective courses are formed and led by mature believers for those desiring in-depth study of the Bible. These classes are long term (10 or more weeks) with an end and start date, and typically incorporate self-study, reading and/or weekly homework.

A Lifelong Love

Leader: Shawn Yost
330.966.2800

Gary Thomas believes couples often settle for too little when it comes to marriage. We fail to understand how deeply God cares about our spouse. We diminish our need not only to understand what biblical love really is, but also to become a people who excel at it. We let ourselves drift apart instead of making the daily choices to grow closer together. Whether your marriage needs a complete makeover, a touch up, or just a new purpose, A Lifelong Love promises to set your relationship on an entirely new dimension. This study will guide you through the power shifts and seasonal minefields so that you can grow in your love instead of in your disappointment. Begins Wednesday, March 1 after the Spiritual Parenting Class.

Spiritual Parenting

Leader: Shawn Yost
330.966.2800

It's hard enough to train kids to behave, but good behavior isn't what Jesus calls for in the Bible. He wants hearts and souls that are shaped in vibrant faith and love toward God and others. How can parents cultivate this in their children? Spiritual Parenting is a six-part DVD series that empowers parents to be the primary nurturers of their children's faith and teaches them how to create a home environment God can use to work in their children's lives. Families will be transformed as they learn how to create space for God-encounters in everyday life. Begins Wednesday, January 18.
